I Can Read with JOY
At the core of our social initiatives is the I Can Read with JOY programme, a visionary initiative aimed at bridging the literacy gap for financially disadvantaged children.
Launched in partnership with Allkin Singapore(formerly Ang Mo Kio Family Services Centre) in February 2017, this programme was our first step towards making literacy accessible to all children, irrespective of their socio-economic background.
Empowering Young Minds Through Literacy
Today, having embraced the support and collaboration of numerous charitable organisations, we've extended our reach, sponsoring over 100 students and imbuing their educational journey with the joy of reading.
This endeavour is more than a mission; it's our pledge to nurture self-confidence, independence, and a lifelong love for reading in young learners.
Organised throughout the year, I Can Read with JOY programmes are part of our ongoing commitment to create a positive impact on the lives of young learners. Through this initiative, we aim to bring joy, learning and literacy to children who can benefit from additional support.

TasekAcademy
We're proud to reflect on a notable success from our I Can Read with JOY initiative, in which we collaborated with Tasek Academy to boost the literacy journey of several remarkable children.
Through Tasek Academy's Gift of Reading (GOR) programme, these young learners took part in our "World Warriors" programme, engaging in science experiments and learning about environmental conservation, thereby enhancing their reading and writing abilities.
This partnership highlights our ongoing dedication to fostering joy, learning and literacy among children who can benefit from extra support, reaffirming our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
Community Chest Fú Dài
I Can Read proudly commenced our CSR efforts by participating in the Community Chest Fú Dài event, marking our second year of contributing to this significant cause.
Over 1,300 volunteers from our team and partners packed and delivered 8,000+ Fú Dài bags to support seniors and needy families, showcasing community solidarity.
Through this initiative, I Can Read looks forward to continuing our involvement in such meaningful activities, reinforcing our commitment to making a difference through acts of kindness.
SuncareSG
I Can Read is delighted to share the success of our I Can Read with JOY initiative with Suncare SG, which brought learning and discovery to children at our Punggol centre.
Our "Nature’s Wonders" offered an exciting blend of reading, writing and crafting activities, enhancing the children's phonemic awareness and vocabulary. This not only contributed to an enriching educational experience but also supported the children's journey of self-confidence and joy in learning.
The programme highlighted our commitment to accessible education and the transformative power of learning in fostering joy and self-confidence.
